Lift Owner News: Dangers of over-riding door locking safety devices

Can’t Find What You’re Looking For? Click here for our Website Index

We have posted a Lift Owner News guidance document on the website.  This highlights the responsibility for the owner or responsible person for a lift or lifting platform to control the use of the unlocking key for lifts and lifting platforms.  The unlocking key should never be given to those not trained and authorised to use it.  The LEIA guidance to lift owners and a link to the HSE safety bulletin can be found here.
