Covid-19: vaccination of people working or deployed in care homes

A reminder that workers entering care homes will need proof of vaccination from next week (11th November). There is an exemption for workers where “urgent maintenance work is required in the event of a risk to life or continuity of care….. This could include a serious fault in a lift. It is the manager’s responsibility to use their professional judgement to determine whether a situation requires urgent maintenance work”.
